Calcium Lactate

Calcium lactate is a white crystalline salt made by the action of lactic acid and calcium Hydroxide. Sugar used as a raw material to produce lactic acid. It is produced by fermentation process. Realizing the good potential with regards to its usage in Pharma and Food processing industries as a bulk drug and as food preservative, a Calcium Lactate division had been promoted K.C.P. Sugar and Industries Corporation Ltd. (KSICL) at its sugar complex in Vuyyuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh with capacity of 500 M.T per annum in the year 2006. Plant is having CGMP and GLP licence from Drug licensing authority.
